Skype,the site, which allows free internet voice and video calling, announced the changes in a video posted on its official blog.
This was one of the major partnerships facebook made in recent times after the deal with bing search engine.
Facebook wants to go more social with this launch and continue its triumph in social networking field.it made a huge deal with skype which was already being the top in messengers with over 500 million users and 8.1 million paying users.reports say skype users spend Over 520 million minutes taking to one Another.
Skype released a new version of its software ,skype 5.0 for windows platform which comes with inherent features to integrate with facebook.in new skype user is allowed to Have a new tab where user can see the facebook news feed.with this new client you can now interact with your facebook from your skype by just opening a facebook tab, you con post status updates within skype and call your facebook friends and send sms directly to their mobiles from skype. And if your facebook friend is also a skype contact then users can make free skype to skype calls. Group video calling is available in beta form as a Free trail.
