According To The World Competitiveness Rankings Report By the International Institute For Management Development Us Hiked Top Position Continuously For The 15 th Time Followed By Honkong.The both Countries Are ahead of last year's winner, Singapore, which fell to the third spot Now.

IMD  is a business school based in Lausanne, Switzerland, that operates a number of research centres, including the World Competitiveness Centre. 

The rankings are decided based on four main factors – economic performance, government efficiency, business efficiency, and infrastructure.
India,One Of The Fastest Growing And Powerful Economy In the World Dropped one Position to 29th .India Has Topped second Best After China Among The developing Countries "BRIC" (Brazil Russia India China ).
China Placed At 17th And Russia Improved Six Positions to be At45.While Brazil Slips Six Positions.It Was Mixed Result for Bric.

Asian economies that have seen their world rankings improve are Taiwan, which moved from eighth to sixth; South Korea, from 23rd to 22nd; and Japan, from 27th to 26th. Notably, Hong Kong's competitiveness ranking moved from second place to first, tied with the United States, which last year was in third place.

According To The Study Conducted By  World Economic Forum (WEF)  Sweden And Singapore ,The Worlds Competitive Economies Are Also the most competitive countries in the digital economy.

According to the WEF, Nordic and Asian economies are best at using information and communications technologies (ICT) to boost their growth.

Finland is in third place following by Switzerland at fourth and the United States fifth place.
The WEF said ICT was a key enabler of a more economically, environmentally and socially sustainable in the race of tech boosting of any country.. The study ranks 139 countries by means of general business, regulatory and infrastructure environment for Information and communication.
Sweden Which Was Second In World's Global Competitiveness Report of 2010-11 released by World economic forum Released Back in September Followed By Singapore.Looks Like The Countries Which Were Indexed Got Repeated !!
Nordic Countries Completely Topped In The List With Denmark At Seventh Spot,Norway at Ninth And Iceland At 16th Position.

Switzerland retained its position at the top of all countries in Global Competitiveness Report of 2010-11 released by World economic forum.
The study ranks 139 countries by means of both economic data ,strong intellectual property protection and government support of innovation assets.
The main factors on which this report is made are following :
institutions,infrastructure,macroeconomic environment,health facilites,primary and higher education training,market size,good market environment,technological readiness , labour market efficiency,financial market development and innovation.
According to this report switzerland occupies first ,us ,the world's greatest economy fell two places to fourth over taken by sweden ,singapore. Germany has increased two spots to 5th followed by japan(6th) and smaller economies finland,7th denmark 9th.among asian countries hongkong is at 11 and taiwan 13.

And in a row uk moves to 12th. Norway at 14th and france at 15th.qatar ,gas rich country rushes to 18 th followed by saudi arabia ,21th.

Among the top emerging countries China places itself at 27 and india at 51.
