Global Competitiveness Report--Wef


Switzerland retained its position at the top of all countries in Global Competitiveness Report of 2010-11 released by World economic forum.
The study ranks 139 countries by means of both economic data ,strong intellectual property protection and government support of innovation assets.
The main factors on which this report is made are following :
institutions,infrastructure,macroeconomic environment,health facilites,primary and higher education training,market size,good market environment,technological readiness , labour market efficiency,financial market development and innovation.
According to this report switzerland occupies first ,us ,the world's greatest economy fell two places to fourth over taken by sweden ,singapore. Germany has increased two spots to 5th followed by japan(6th) and smaller economies finland,7th denmark 9th.among asian countries hongkong is at 11 and taiwan 13.
And in a row uk moves to 12th. Norway at 14th and france at 15th.qatar ,gas rich country rushes to 18 th followed by saudi arabia ,21th.
Among the top emerging countries China places itself at 27 and india at 51.
