Problem:one cannot get into add or remove programs utility in windows
This happens when Appwiz.cpl is no longer registered or removed from system folder of windows .
Solution: to resolve this problem one has to re-register Appwiz.cpl
follow this steps to re-register
*goto start -->run-->regsvr32appwiz.cpl
*hit enter
then a window is poped up with the message "DllRegisterserver in appwiz.cpl succeeded" and click ok
or you can simply download from here

after downloading the file extract it using winrar
place the extracted file in C:\Windows\system32
