Canadian center for Electron Microscopy has developed a new powerful microscope Titan 80-300 cubed that is the most powerful microscope till now.
According to Gianluigi Botton, Director of Canadian center for Electron Microscopy, says that the power of this microscope can be thought as equivalent to "taking Hubble Telescope and aiming it at atomic level"
"With this microscope we can now easily identify atoms, measure their chemical state and even probe the electrons that bind them together," added Botton.
John Preston, director of McMaster's Brockhouse Institute for Materials Research, said scientists will be now able to understand, alter and improve products' efficiency which help in diagnosis of a disease.
scientists are planning to use the titan to make research on protiens and for drug delievery to identify cancer.
Fei company,a Netherlands Based company which supplies electron microscope tools for manufactures and researchers build this microscope with an estimated cost of $15 million .
